Our astaxanthin nanoemulsion is produced by homogenizing Haematocuccos extract together with additives under extre mely high pressure. Through this process, astaxanthin is converted into nanoparticle with an average diameter of less than 100nm, which is soluble in aqueous solutions. After a rapid dissolution in water, a clear orange-red solution is acquired. Our astaxanthin nanoemulsion is especially suited for products with an aqueous base, e.g., beverages, esse-nces etc. The average particle diameter in aqueous solution of our astaxanthin nanoemulsion increases no more than 15% under normal storage conditions after 50 days, For steam sterilization, the astaxanthin content in the acueous solution of our astaxanthin nanoemulsion has only less than 15% loss after 15 min at 120°C it can be widely used in food additives, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
